Education & Research in the field of Urban Studies

Urban Studies Foundation (USF) was established in 2008 as a charitable company and is regulated by OSCR.

Our main objective is to advance postgraduate education and research in the field of urban studies and we promote and support institutions engaged in these activities. Much of this funding has hitherto been devoted to ensure the development of research in Scottish universities. Following the establishment of the USF we have sought to introduce funding programmes aimed at assisting urban scholars internationally. We expect these programmes to develop over the future.
