The Urban Studies Foundation is a Scottish charitable organisation founded in 2008. Our aims and objectives include advancing academic research and education in the field of urban studies. We realise these outcomes primarily through the provision of grant funding for individuals and institutions engaged in groundbreaking urban research and knowledge mobilisation around the world. "Being approved for the USF International Fellowship proved to be a pivotal moment in my career, offering a much-needed boost of stability and opportunity following the completion of my PhD. It was crucial to have nine months to concentrate on publishing and presenting my work in high-impact journals, during which time I was also able to foster interlocution and consolidate a network of exchange with international urban researchers. The Fellowship has created many positive consequences and opportunities for the development of my career and academic skills, and I am confident that this mark on my professional journey will be very valuable in the long term."
