Dr Smita Yadav is an anthropologist and research associate based at the Center for Policy Research (CPR), New Delhi. Her research is focused on one of the largest indigenous populations in India, the Gonds, who currently face restricted forest access by the Tiger Reserve Authorities of the region.
As a USF International Fellow, Dr Yadav will spend six months working with Professor Sue Parnell in the School of Geographical Sciences at the University of Bristol.
