The research, carried out with a small team of collaborators and co-thinkers, comparatively explores the practices and possibilities of urban occupations, located in 3 cities of the Global South: Bogota, Cape Town & Sao Paulo.
As a USF International Fellow, Dr Scheba will spend three months working with Professor Maria Kaika at the Centre for Urban Studies (CUS), at the University of Amsterdam (UvA).
