The Urban Studies Foundation is excited to announce that nine new International Fellows will begin their USF-funded research over the next year. Each fellowship provides a visiting sabbatical aimed at helping Fellows develop their research publications and outputs. This year’s cohort includes scholars from Brazil, China, Ghana, India, and Indonesia, who will receive mentorship from established academics in related urban studies fields.
The proposals from this year’s Fellows cover various topics, including housing, e-waste recycling, rural urbanization, urban water infrastructures, visual archives, public art, mobility, transport infrastructure, urban environmental history, violence, inequality, and informal settlements.
